Janet Leona Sgro is driven by the need for creative expression. Her desire to produce artwork in many mediums runs strong. "Each thought, idea and vision swimming around in my head requires a different form of creative evolution." Sometimes she found working on a series of paintings, doing small intricate drawings, experimenting on the computer, photographing or making jewelry. No matter what the creative process, the end result is beauty Janet can give to others through her artistic expression.
The School of the Art Institute Chicago based artist looks to nature for inspiration. She currently lives with her husband and son away from the hectic big city life, and has the access to nature that was needed to create artwork. She creates artwork in her Springfield, Illinois studio with stunning views of the inspirational landscape.
